Manas was very nervous, it was his first trip abroad. He had joined this multinational company less than a year ago, and now he was asked to travel to Texas. He had been brilliant in whatever little time he had spent in the company, and the trip was more of a recognition of his capability. He was picked up from the airport by a company arranged limo and dropped into a fully furnished house, which was to be his abode for the next six months. As he dropped his luggage and sat on the sofa, the reality kicked in, he had never stayed alone in his life, the feeling of having no one to talk to, in this unknown place, along with a hostile and challenging work environment overshadowed the excitement of his first visit to the country of dreams.
